Overview

For long overhead lines with too many branches, un-patrolable areas and limited load, it becomes commercially unviable to install expensive solutions to detect faulty branches.

Sharika’s SmartOn™ FPI is the right solution for 6 to 70 KV networks with multiple options of control. Gives the flashing visual indication, as soon as the feeder trips. The communicable versions can also communicate the alarms and status to remote control stations, accessible through browser or smart phones.

With strong and efficient mechanical construction with comprehensive suite of automation levels, SmartOn™ FPIs can fit every budget.

Technical collaboration with S. Korea and matchless build quality with ease of operation & maintenance, FPIs can effectively bring down SAIFI & SAIDI by reducing patrol time, giving satisfied consumers and recover unserved revenue.

RTU & Communication

  • Very compact and powerful RTU that communicates with FPIs over short range radios and transmits data to control centre
  • Choice of multiple frequencies, depending on country. With -105 dbm sensitivity, can offer a range of at least 200m.
  • Can communicate with upto 9 FPIs from single RTU.
  • Built in Aux supply with battery back-up
  • Powerful 4G router (with dual SIM option) ib built security using VPN, SSH Tunneling and AES3 Encryption
  • Provides priceless network and load information on each branch for detailed analysis.

  • Very easy to install on live line with a hot stick and a matching receptacle
  • On site configuration in minutes
  • Zero maintenance required except change of batteries after 3-8 years depending on climate and frequency of activities
  • Battery replacement alarms are self-triggered by FPI

Extremely simple configuration of individual phase FPI through software tool and a radio dongle. No need to connect to RTU
